He sees his purpose as helping others to honour their gifts and make a dent in the universe. He has appeared as a coach on television, working in the "Crash Course"
series broadcast on ITV Wales in 2005. His client base includes a prominent national charity and individuals working towards a happier world.

He spent 27 years as a Reuters correspondent, reporting from 25 countries in Europe, Africa, Latin America and Asia. As a young globetrotter he worked briefly as a bricklayer's labourer in Australia.

During his years in journalism Stephen learned what turbulence looks and feels like -- he is at home in swirling change. He spent several years as Reuters bureau chief in Brazil, helping to chronicle the country's transition from military government to democracy. He covered war and revolution in West Africa and held a senior post on the Asia Desk in Singapore when Asia suffered the financial crisis of the late 1990s.
Wherever he went one story just never went away -- the deep pain of people everywhere over the despoiling of the planet.

One of his passions is languages and back home in his native Wales he has been struggling to learn Welsh, the language of heaven. Last but not least he is a public speaker, with a keynote speech called "Living Adventurously".

He lives on a farm in the Black Mountains of Wales with his Brazilian wife, three daughters, sundry cats and hens. He has planted more than 4,000 trees and dreams of making the whole farm organic one day.
