The Gaia Coach Institute is a learning community for personal and planetary renewal. It held its inaugural course in March 2005. The central vision of the institute is to nurture inspirational leaders with a grounding in three key aspects of 21st century leadership: |

Coaching has much to offer our beleaguered societies. It promotes flat, fluid structures in organisations and helps individuals by anchoring them in their values and their sense of purpose. |
The new coaching profession contains in its ranks many women and men of great talent and energy. Increasingly this energy will flow into what cultural historian Thomas Berry calls the Great Work, reinventing the human so that we become a benign presence on the planet. The Gaia Coach Institute aspires to be part of the Great Work. |
Stephen Powell, founder of the institute, has brought together an advisory board of eight members from Britain, Brazil, Canada and the United States. |
